Sportsworld Appoint Angie Eliason as North American COO

Sportsworld, part of Destination Sport Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Angie Eliason as Chief Operating Officer for North America.

The appointment marks an exciting development in Sportsworld’s international growth as it looks to build on its 45-year history of delivering turn-key hospitality programmes, global event management and international travel solutions at major sporting events such as the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and The Championships, Wimbledon.

Angie brings a wealth of experience in leading complex, large-scale event operations, overseeing high-profile procurement and driving strategic growth. She has held various leadership roles across the United States, including as Executive Director of the Nevada Youth Soccer Association and most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of United Soccer Coaches, where she helped to drive the organization’s mission of supporting soccer coaches and promoting the sport nationwide.

Sportsworld’s Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Wilson, commented on the appointment,
