Marathon Tours & Travel, part of Destination Sport Group, has been announced as the Official International Tour Operator for the Shanghai Marathon.

Marathon Tours & Travel is the world’s largest specialist running travel company, taking competitors to over 40 events annually, including all seven World Marathon Majors.

The partnership will see Marathon Tours & Travel work in tandem with international travel companies to offer a range of travel options for international runners who have already secured their entry in the 2025 Shanghai Marathon. 

The agreement comes as the Shanghai Marathon embarks on its debut year as an Abbott World Marathon Major candidacy race.

As well as providing seamless travel and accommodation packages, Marathon Tours & Travel will also offer runners additional experiences including a tour of Shanghai, a warm-up run, pre-race dinner and a post-race celebration event. The company will also provide a bilingual support team to offer assistance throughout the event.
