Destination Sport Group is pleased to announce the hire of Christoph Speich as part of a strategy to increase its major sport event accommodation management capabilities.
Having most recently worked as Head of Accommodation at FIFA, Christoph will be responsible for enhancing Destination Sport’s expertise in major accommodation projects, plus generating new business opportunities from global sporting events.
Christoph brings 30+ years of travel experience, the majority of which has been spent working on global sporting events including FIFA World Cups and UEFA EUROs. This includes the creation of an accommodation department within FIFA to handle all tournaments and events, as project lead for the Accommodation Agencies for UEFA EURO 2008 and 2016, as well as destination management across Europe for Kuoni and the travel management for the Swiss Football Association and Swiss Ice Hockey Federation.
Destination Sport is a market-leader in sports travel and accommodation management, working on behalf of 75+ organisations including teams, governing bodies and federations, including several existing major event projects globally.
