Destination Sport is pleased to announce a contract extension with Leicester Tigers, that will see us remain Tigers’ Official Travel Supplier on a multi-year deal.
Under the extended agreement, Destination Sport will provide Leicester Tigers with a comprehensive travel management service covering domestic and international travel for the Club’s playing teams, alongside specialist business travel support for staff and executives. These services will be delivered by Destination Sport Travel, the Group’s specialist travel management division for elite sports organisations.
The partnership will also enable Tigers supporters to benefit from a unique range of sports travel services delivered by specialist divisions across the Destination Sport portfolio.
SportsBreaks, Destination Sport’s fan experience division, will provide official supporter travel packages for selected fixtures during the Club’s European campaigns. These packages will give Tigers supporters the opportunity to follow their team in Europe, with official tickets, travel and accommodation taken care of.
Leicester Tigers supporters will also be able to access official international rugby travel packages through England Rugby Travel and Lions Rugby Travel. Both brands are operated by Mike Burton Group, Destination Sport’s specialist division for rightsholder-branded fan experiences.
Meanwhile, inspiresport, Destination Sport’s specialist youth sports tours division, will have the opportunity to promote rugby development tours to schools affiliated with Leicester Tigers. inspiresport provides young players with access to professional coaching environments and memorable sporting experiences at leading destinations across the UK and overseas.
The agreement demonstrates Destination Sport’s ability to bring together its specialist divisions to deliver comprehensive travel solutions for professional sports organisations, their supporters and wider communities.
