Destination Sport Group was selected by five of the world’s most prominent football clubs to provide specialist travel management, accommodation and event logistics during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Operating across a network of 10+ U.S. host cities, our expert teams from across Europe and North America collaborated across divisions to provide an integrated service, ensuring a seamless experience for team and VIP stakeholders.
Team Travel and Accommodation Management
On behalf of its long-term client Manchester City FC, Destination Sport Group led the delivery of accommodation, travel and logistics throughout the tournament, ensuring that players, coaching staff, and support personnel experienced a smooth stay throughout the duration of the tournament.
Accommodation
Accommodation planning was paramount to the success of our FIFA Club World Cup project. Our specialist team took over the management of hotels, including Manchester City’s chosen base camp in Boca Raton, Florida, along with FIFA-designated venue specific hotels in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Orlando, plus additional accommodation in each host city for club staff.
We streamlined communication between hotels and our client, overseeing contracts and ensuring cost control, whilst managing rooming allocations and event spaces. Finer details were also coordinated to make the players’ stay comfortable and performance-focused, including supporting with catering and arranging entertainment spaces for players.

Air & Ground Transport
Destination Sport Group managed travel, including flights, ground transportation, and individual player movements.
As part of this, our transport leads created and maintained a complex daily transport plan in line with Manchester City’s schedules. The team worked closely with FIFA’s systems and Team Liaison Officers to coordinate logistics, ensuring that every movement – from airport arrivals to stadium transfers – was executed with precision. Advance teams were deployed to each host city to prepare for arrivals, helping to streamline transitions for players and staff.
Destination Sport Group also handled transatlantic and domestic flight requirements for club staff including commercial and media departments.
Onsite Operations & Staffing
Our onsite operations were led by vastly experienced staff, who acted as the primary point of contact for all team-related needs. From managing daily hotel operations and housekeeping schedules to facilitating the arrival and departure of club kit and equipment, our teams ensured that every detail was handled with care.
“On-the-road” teams travelled ahead of the club to prepare each venue, working closely with FIFA, hotels, and local suppliers to ensure readiness.

VIP Management
On behalf of five of the world’s most prominent football clubs, Destination Sport Group delivered premium travel and accommodation services for VIP stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, corporate groups, and players’ guests.
Travel & Accommodation
We managed travel and accommodation for VIP stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience across multiple host cities. This involved coordinating internal flights, including charters, often across complex, multi-leg itineraries that aligned with the tournament schedule.
Premium hotels were carefully selected to meet the expectations of high-profile guests, with considerations for location, amenities, and proximity to match venues and social events.
Private ground transfers were arranged in each city, offering a mix of executive vehicles and group transport options tailored to the size and requirements of each group.
On-site Support
Each VIP group was supported by dedicated multilingual staff who provided a 24/7 concierge-style service. These team members accompanied guests throughout their itineraries, handling everything from restaurant reservations to last-minute transport changes. Local guides were also brought in to enhance the experience with cultural and language-specific support.

Destination Sport Group arranged bespoke cultural experiences for VIPs, blending world-class football with local excursions, including baseball and NASCAR events. Guests enjoyed fine dining, sightseeing tours, and social events such as pre-match functions.
